That a disturbance in family upbringing greatly affects the development of children's personalities, and that among the most important psychological disturbances that children are exposed to as a result of the emotional imbalance in abnormal family upbringing are anxiety and depression. The problem of the study was defined as: Is there a significant correlation between the patterns of family climate as perceived by children and test anxiety among children with high self-esteem and those with low self-esteem? The researcher adopted the descriptive correlational analytical method, and the study reached several results, which are that the correlation between the patterns of democratic family climate - rejection and lack of attention - overprotection and test anxiety is not affected by the high or low self-esteem of children, while we find that the level of self-esteem of children affects the correlation between the pattern of (authoritarian) family climate and test anxiety, as we find a significant positive correlation among those with high self-esteem, while there is no significant correlation between the pattern of (authoritarian) family climate and test anxiety among those with low self-esteem Statistically significant differences were found between males and females in their perception of the family climate style "rejection and neglect" and the family climate style "overprotection," favoring females. This may be due to the family climate style characterized by "rejection and neglect" and "overprotection." Statistically significant differences were also found between males and females, favoring females, in the level of test anxiety at the 0.01 level.
