This study investigates the effectiveness of using songs as a pedagogical tool for teaching English vocabulary to young English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners. Employing a quasi-experimental quantitative design, the research compares the vocabulary acquisition of a group of primary school students (aged 6–10) instructed through songs with a control group receiving conventional instruction. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests, classroom observations and teacher feedback. The findings reveal that the experimental group demonstrated significantly greater improvement in vocabulary retention and recall compared to the control group. Furthermore, students in the song-based group exhibited higher levels of motivation, engagement and improved pronunciation. The research focused on five main dimensions: training objectives, training content, training methods, training environment, and trainer competence. A descriptive analytical approach was adopted, and a questionnaire was used to collect data from a sample of 95 teachers. Data were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods, including the One-Sample T-Test, to compare the hypothetical means with the actual means obtained from the sample responses. The results revealed that all five dimensions achieved higher actual means than the hypothetical means, with statistically significant differences at the level of (p &lt; 0.001). It specifically examined the most prevalent decision-making domains: problem identification, developing solutions, evaluating alternatives, and decision communication and assessment. Additionally, the study explored potential significant differences in decision-making effectiveness based on the respondents' demographic variables.</p> <p>Adopting a descriptive-analytical approach, the study targeted the entire population of secondary school teachers in Al-Marj. A simple random sample of 211 participants was selected. Data collection was conducted via a structured questionnaire, and the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was employed for data analysis. Statistical techniques included percentages, frequencies, means, standard deviations, independent samples T-tests, and One-Way ANOVA.</p> <p>The findings revealed a high level of overall decision-making effectiveness among school principals across all studied domains. "Problem identification" emerged as the most frequently practiced domain, followed by "decision communication and assessment," then "evaluating alternatives," while "developing solutions" ranked last. Furthermore, the results indicated statistically significant differences in perceived decision-making effectiveness attributable to gender, favoring female principals, and years of experience, favoring those with over 15 years of service. The study employed a descriptive-analytical methodology, using a questionnaire distributed to a sample of (267) medical and administrative staff members.</p> <p>The results revealed a statistically significant impact of job enrichment dimensions on improving the work environment, accounting for 63.2% of the variance in the environment's improvement. Findings indicated that "task significance" ranked first in terms of actual implementation, while "feedback" was the most influential dimension for change despite its low level of practice. These Qur’anic verbal pairings have actively appeared in the formulations of Arabic poetry according to various considerations and aims. At the outset comes the rhetorical miraculousness of these pairings in their original Qur’anic phrasing. This is followed by their rhetorical potential in their persuasive/effect-oriented activity through poetic employment. Next, their rhythmic and musical distinctiveness emerges—both internal and external—along with the fact that they constitute rhythmically “ready” poetic formulations. Furthermore, it attempts to examine the effectiveness of this approach in improving students' understanding of syntax, enhancing classroom participation and performance, and identifying the major challenges associated with the use of Task-Based activities. The data were obtained from a sample of 16 sixth-semester students enrolled in an English syntax course at the Department of English, Faculty of Languages and Translation, Misurata University. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire administered via Google Form at the end of the semester following the implementation of Task-Based Learning (TBL) in teaching the course throughout the semester. The questionnaire consisted of several sections addressing students' attitudes toward Task-Based Learning, their perceptions of the teacher's role, the effect of this approach on their syntactic performance, and the challenges that may hinder its implementation. The results of this study revealed the effectiveness of using Task-Based Learning (TBL) in teaching syntax. (TBL) had a positive impact on students' attitudes, motivation, and classroom participation. High mean scores and statistical significance showed the effectiveness and acceptance of the methodology. At the time students' understanding of complex grammatical concepts improved, the teacher's role in clarifying tasks, observing progress, and giving feedback was crucial. This study investigates the significance of these strategies in Libyan freshmen students in secondary public schools. The study employed an empirical survey to collect the data. Forty-three students ranked a list of 6 motivational strategies items and a list of 6 anxiety items on a Likert scale (1-5) from ‘strongly disagree’ (1) to ‘strongly agree’ (5). The importance of the study stems from the role of job empowerment as a modern managerial approach in enhancing organizational commitment.</p> <p>The study adopted both the descriptive and analytical approaches. The descriptive approach was used to address the theoretical aspects and review relevant previous literature, while the analytical approach was employed to process field data and test the study hypothesis. The study population consisted of all employees of the Financial Services Office in Sabratha, totaling (108) employees. A census method was adopted to ensure data comprehensiveness and accuracy. Data were collected through a questionnaire specifically designed to measure the dimensions of job empowerment and the level of organizational commitment, and were analyzed using the SPSS statistical software.</p> <p>The results indicated that the level of job empowerment among employees was moderate, with noticeable deficiencies in some dimensions, particularly motivation and participation in decision-making, as well as weak administrative support for empowering practices. The findings also showed that the level of organizational commitment was moderate, with a relative weakness in feelings of belonging, loyalty, and willingness to remain at work. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach, and a structured questionnaire was utilized as the primary data collection instrument. Given the relatively small size of the study population, a comprehensive census method was employed, encompassing all employees of the office (50). Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), The independent variable was represented by the dimensions of Management Information Systems, which recorded an overall mean score of (2.55). The human resources dimension scored at a moderate level, whereas the database and software dimensions reflected lower levels. The findings also indicated that the level of institutional performance was moderate, with a mean score of (2.98), The results of the linear regression analysis demonstrated a statistically significant positive effect of Management Information Systems on institutional performance. Adopting a mixed-methods research design, it combines quantitative performance data from IIoT sensors with qualitative insights from stakeholder interviews to assess impacts on waste reduction, process efficiency, and operational performance. The theoretical framework explores the harmonious integration of lean tools (e.g., 5S, kaizen, value stream mapping) with digital innovations like AI algorithms and predictive analytics, without conflicting with traditional practices. Empirical findings from a case study demonstrate that AI-driven IIoT systems enhance sorting accuracy (up to 98%), reduce inefficiencies by 30-45%, and support lean outcomes such as zero-defect production. Limitations include technical challenges like sensor drift and contextual barriers in small-scale settings, while research gaps highlight the need for broader scalability and cost-benefit analyses. The conclusion emphasizes that Digital Lean, as a synergy of lean and Industry 4.0, drives sustainable manufacturing excellence, with recommendations for future pilot studies and policy alignments. The proposed system is built on a microcontroller platform (Arduino Mega) and employs a genetic algorithm to optimize traffic signal timing according to data collected from the sensors.</p> <p>In addition, the system is designed to handle emergency situations by providing priority to emergency vehicles such as ambulances and fire trucks. The study was based on the fundamental laws of heat transfer (thermal conduction), in addition to the theoretical application of the second law of thermodynamics. The results led to the derivation of a curve illustrating the relationship between outdoor temperature and the rate of heat transfer required to compensate for heat loss and maintain thermal stability inside the room.</p> <p>The findings showed an inverse relationship between outdoor temperature and the required heating power, as the need for heating increases when the outdoor temperature decreases.</p> <p>This study contributes to determining the appropriate heating capacity to avoid two main issues:</p> <p>Insufficient heating, which negatively affects comfort and health.</p> <p>Unnecessary increase in energy consumption, which adversely impacts the economic aspect</p> 2026-03-02T00:00:00+02:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Atafani Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences
