This study aimed to explore the impact of job enrichment dimensions (skill variety, task identity, task significance, autonomy, and feedback) on improving the work environment (physical, organizational, and psycho-social) at Abu Salim Accident Hospital in Libya. The study employed a descriptive-analytical methodology, using a questionnaire distributed to a sample of (267) medical and administrative staff members.
The results revealed a statistically significant impact of job enrichment dimensions on improving the work environment, accounting for 63.2% of the variance in the environment's improvement. Findings indicated that "task significance" ranked first in terms of actual implementation, while "feedback" was the most influential dimension for change despite its low level of practice. The study recommended activating periodic evaluation systems (feedback), granting medical staff greater professional autonomy, and developing the hospital's physical and technical infrastructure to cope with work pressures.
