Through monitoring satellite channels, we have observed an increase in competition in recent years to attract and capture the audience's attention. These channels offer their best services to surround viewers with the information they may need in their daily lives. Among these services are news bulletins, which have become a key element of television programming and one of the areas of competition between stations, contributing to their fame and distinction. It is noteworthy that television stations differ in terms of the topics and forms of news coverage. This is usually a result of differences in geographical regions and the varying political systems, ideologies, and cultures in which the satellite stations operate. Through this research, we aimed to demonstrate the extent to which the news bulletin on the studied channel keeps pace with internal and external events and its ability to provide viewers with information. Therefore, the researcher posed the following main problem: Has the news bulletin on Al-Masar channel been able to provide viewers with the information they need about events that concern them, in terms of both form and content? This study is a descriptive-interpretive study, and the analytical study concluded that the political content on the studied channel is superior
Among the news values emphasized, the value of importance stood out, surpassing the presenter's style with visual material on the "Libya Al-Masar" channel. The channel paid great attention to local news, which ranked first due to the rapidly unfolding events in the country. The inverted pyramid topped the list by a large percentage, while prominent figures outperformed their counterparts in other categories on the channel
