The role of e-management in enhancing administrative decisions: a field study on Al-Harouj Oil Services Company

Abstract

 of the study: The study aimed to identify the role of e-management (administrative requirements, human requirements, financial requirements, and technical requirements) in enhancing administrative decision-making in Harouge Oil Services Company, as the problem of the study revolves around providing a theoretical framework that includes the intellectual and cognitive aspects of e-management, and knowing the main factors that lead to making rational decisions within the company. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire was designed and distributed to a random sample of (130) individuals from the study community of (210) male and female employees. A number of (123) valid questionnaires were retrieved, of which (120) individuals. The descriptive approach and analytical survey method were used, through the statistical package program (SPSS). After conducting the necessary statistical analysis, the study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: the existence of a statistically significant relationship at a significance level of 0.05 for the dimensions of e-management represented in (administrative requirements, financial requirements, organizational requirements, and technical requirements) on making rational decisions in Harouge Oil Services Company, and that the decision-making process Decisions are not an end in themselves, but rather a necessity to move the organization from its current situation to a better future situation in order to achieve and enhance its competitive advantages through appropriate change strategies. Through the results that were reached, a set of recommendations were reached, the most important of which are: working on holding training courses and workshops to raise the culture of digital transformation within the company.
