Abstract

This research, entitled "The Poetic Image and Its Components in the Poetry of Issam Al-Farjani - An Analytical Study in Light of Selected Models," offers an in-depth technical analysis of the structure of the poetic image in a number of poems by the Libyan poet Issam Al-Farjani, considering it a prominent aesthetic and expressive foundation of his poetic experience.

Eight poems representing the various stages of his production were selected and analyzed using the technical analytical method, focusing on the components of the image (source, structure, meaning) and its artistic, aesthetic, and emotional functions.

The study revealed the dominance of a sad emotion in the images, and the diversity of their sources, including nature, the self, the city, women, and dreams. It also demonstrated how the image fuses within the poet into an artistic fabric that combines language, rhythm, and emotion.
